Bond paper is a strong, durable writing paper consisting of wood, cotton, or both. Bond paper is most commonly used for cash register and adding tax machines.
If you scratch your existing eftpos roll and the paper doesn't mark clearly, you will need to order some bond paper rolls for your machine. To find out which size roll suits your machine, check out our Efpos paper roll sizing chart.
Thermal paper is paper that is impregnated with a chemical that changes color when exposed to heat. It is used in thermal printers and particularly in cash registers and eftpos terminals.
You can tell your machine takes thermal paper rolls by scratching a little of the existing roll with your fingernail. If it marks clearly then you will be using thermal paper.
